MOORESVILLE JR Motorsports announced Thursday that incoming driver Danica Patrick will attempt to qualify for the Feb. 20 NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Auto Club Speedway in California and the Feb. 27 Nationwide race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Patrick, who will return for a full season in 2010 in the Izod IndyCar Series, announced on Dec. 8 plans to run a partial Nationwide schedule for the JR Motorsports team co-owned by Dale Earnhardt Jr., Rick Hendrick, Kelley Earnhardt and Tony Eury Jr. Patrick said at a Thursday news conference that the team hasnt decided yet whether she will attempt to qualify for the Nationwide season opener at Daytona International Speedway but will run the Automobile Racing Club of America event at DIS on Feb. 6. Ill have to decide if thats the right opportunity, Patrick said of the Nationwide race at Daytona
